Get to work quickly.

MarkTracker allows you to immediately get to work without wading through several options each time you want to use the program.

All options are available from the main screen.

Enter Students Names

The menu option Student / Insert pops up an entry screen to insert a new student. Build your class list quickly by using this method (the most difficult part of using MarkTracker).

Enter a Test

Once student names are input the menu option Test / Insert allows you to enter a new test (with next available entry/Test number already set). Enter Date, Category (by Number) and Test total and choose OK and you are ready to enter marks.

Enter Marks

Select the first cell in the column of the new test next to the first student. Enter the mark and use Down Arrow key to move to the next Student to input the next mark and so on until all marks are in. How easy can it get?

Calculate averages

As you type marks in the grid, MarkTracker calculates Tests, Students and Class Average automatically. To be sure, through the menu Test / Recalc option calculates (Re-calculate) student, test and class averages. Then, just click the Save button to save to your hard drive.

Need a Report?

Click the menu option Report / Marks in Grid. A report ready to print. Post it on your bulletin board so your students can see their progress in your class. Do they need to get extra help? They (and you) will know right away. No one has to guess.

7 Reports are available (if required). There are: Marks in Grid, Summary (Class List, with average, by Category), General Form, Students (Report Card, Attendance), Combine Terms

Report on One Student or all Students including attendance

Need a report for one student which shows the average on each test? You have it again.

More than one Term

Need more than 1 term of 50 marks for 50 students. No problem. You can use up to 4 terms and switch back to a previous term to review other term results.

A Combine Terms report is also available if more than one term is used.
Terms can be weighted (you determine the weighting factor)

For example:

   Term 1 could be worth 1, Term 2 worth 1 for a ratio of 1:1 .
   Or Term 1 is worth 1, Term 2 worth 2 for 1:2 ratio.

A final report can be generated to show each term average and final average (based) on Term Weights for the course.
